Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management & Compliance
· Manage a portfolio of client cases, including UK Companies, LLPs, Trusts and international clients.
· Coordinate and prepare accounts and tax returns.
· Ensure all filing deadlines and compliance obligations are met.
· Maintain high-quality client service, responding to queries promptly and professionally.
· Exposure to trust accounts, fiduciary structures and domestic clients
Team Leadership & Development
· Supervise and support junior staff that are book-keeping for the accounts preparation.
· Provide guidance and technical feedback to help develop junior team members’ skills.
· Assist in workload planning and workflow management across the team.
Client Relationships
· Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and senior members of the team / and act as a key point of contact for your portfolio.
· Attend client meetings, with support where appropriate.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
· ACCA qualified / part qualified (or equivalent experience).
· Strong experience in FRS102 / FRS105 accounts preparation.
· Broad Corporation Tax knowledge, required in order to prepare more straightforward tax returns, and to support Senior Tax Managers in the preparation of more comprehensive tax returns.
· Ability to manage a busy portfolio and review book-keeping work prepared by others.
· Excellent communication skills and a commercial mindset.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
Desirable
· Xero software experience preferred.
· Prior experience in supervising more junior staff.
· Interest in developing knowledge across a wide range of industries and entity types.
