Job description

This is a highly visible, field-based leadership role supporting a significant region of 100+ stores, with the Midlands being the ideal location to be based. Partnering closely with the Regional Operations Manager and Area Managers, you will lead the regional people agenda, shape workforce strategy, build organisational capability, and ensure a strong pipeline of future leaders to support the continued growth and success of the business.

The key accountabilities of the role will be:
 
  • Lead and deliver the regional people strategy, aligning talent and workforce priorities with commercial objectives.
  • Drive succession planning and leadership development, ensuring strong pipelines for critical management roles across the region.
  • Partner with senior operational leaders to enhance performance, strengthen leadership capability, and foster high-performing teams.
  • Utilise people data and insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities, influencing business decisions and people outcomes.
  • Champion colleague engagement, organisational effectiveness, and a culture of continuous development across the region.
Our ideal People Business Partner candidate will need to demonstrate the following qualities:
 
  • Significant experience in a senior HR or People Business Partner role within a multi-site, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, translating business priorities into impactful people solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a track record of balancing people initiatives with operational and financial outcomes.
  • Expertise in talent management, succession planning, organisational development, and leadership capability.
  • A credible, resilient and collaborative relationship builder who thrives on driving change and delivering results through people
