Job description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex data and analytics solution within a secure UK public sector environment. The role will involve coordinating multidisciplinary technical teams, managing delivery plans, risks and dependencies, and ensuring effective governance across a programme involving data integration, risk processing and operational case management. Due to the nature of the engagement, candidates must hold active UK Security Clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, mobilisation and successful delivery of project workstreams.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources and dependencies.
- Coordinate delivery across technical teams covering data engineering, analytics, application development and testing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with client, partner and delivery stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate project governance, reporting and assurance processes are maintained.
- Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
- Maintain delivery plans, RAID logs, resource plans and project reporting.
- Track progress against milestones, deliverables and agreed outcomes.
- Coordinate activities across internal teams, external partners and client stakeholders.
- Support requirements, development, testing and deployment activities to ensure effective end-to-end delivery.
- Provide clear and timely status updates to senior stakeholders.
- Drive resolution of delivery blockers and support effective decision-making.
- Promote effective delivery practices and continuous improvement across the project team.
Key Requirements
- Active UK Security Clearance.
- Proven experience delivering complex technology, software or data projects as a Project Manager.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary technical delivery teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing project plans, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies.
- Strong understanding of project governance and delivery reporting.
- Experience working within secure, regulated or public sector environments.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities.
- Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively across client, partner and supplier organisations.

- Experience delivering data and analytics solutions.
- Experience delivering SAS-based solutions.
- Experience with SAS Viya or other enterprise analytics platforms.
- Experience delivering fraud, compliance, risk or rules-based decisioning solutions.

- Experience working within UK Government.
