We're looking for a commercially astute and proactive finance business partner to join our Retail, Transport and Mobile finance team. This is a pivotal opportunity where you'll partner closely with senior stakeholders across a major global health and beauty retailer, providing financial insight, constructive challenge, and support to drive better decision-making. You'll bring strong analytical skills and the ability to turn financial information into practical, actionable insight that improves business performance.

Job Overview

Lead financial business partnering for a major global health and beauty retailer, driving financial performance and supporting key business decisions

Establish and maintain robust relationships with client finance teams and key stakeholders, delivering financial insight and constructive challenge to inform and influence decision-making processes

Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting, ensuring robust financial control, performance analysis, and compliance with reporting requirements

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities, and actions that enhance business performance

Support strategic and operational initiatives through financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and commercial analysis

Main Duties

Business Partnering and Insight

Act as the key finance contact for both internal and external stakeholders, building strong and effective working relationships

Provide insightful financial and analytical reporting to understand business performance, risks, and opportunities

Challenge and support operational teams to drive revenue growth, margin enhancement, and cost efficiency

Partner with stakeholders to support strategic decision-making through financial insight and commercial analysis

Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes

Financial Governance and Performance Reporting

Own the accurate and timely delivery of P&L, balance sheet, and working capital reporting

Produce monthly management accounts, including clear variance analysis and commentary on key performance drivers

Ensure all client reporting requirements are delivered accurately and within agreed deadlines

Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies and reporting standards

Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information, with a strong focus on control and governance
