About the role:
- Ensure high quality maintained during manufacturing.
- Employ innovate methods to work to optimise manufacturing performance.
- Employ consistent analysis for basing process decisions.
- Provide technical support to operations group. Ensuring all stages of the manufacturing process are completed within specifications, whilst adhering to quality standards.
- Provide leadership and direction to Primary Process Operators to allow high levels of productivity at all times.
- Communication of all Devro standards to include safety, food safety, hygiene, yields and quality.
- Develop a culture of continuous improvement using the Manufacturing Excellence tools, e.g. DMAIC Roadmap.
- Promote and develop a Safety awareness at all times.
- Drive a “right first time” attitude regarding manufacturing quality and output.
- Project work, as required.

About you:
- Experience: Previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment is essential. Must be capable of interrogating systems and have the confident in taking appropriate corrective actions. Experience of working on projects is desirable.
- Skills: Must be able to work on own initiative with limited supervision. Excellent problem solving and time management skills are essential. Must possess strong communication skills.
- Knowledge: Educated to a minimum of HND/Degree level in a science or quality based subject.
