Job description
This role sits within the marketing team and is responsible for the end-to-end participant communications experience. It suits someone looking to build a broad range of skills and allows you to develop communications, commercial, and marketing expertise as well as hone your face-to-face customer service capability.
There is scope to shape the role from a technology-first approach through to a more creative-led style, and the following are the key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver the end-to-end participant communications journeys, from sign-up to post-event follow-up, while optimising all information resources (websites, FAQs, CRM comms, and event guides).
- Own and drive projects, setting timelines, managing delivery and budgets, and ensuring clear, accountable progress against milestones.
- Partner with Marketing, Charity, Partnerships and Operations teams to translate key event information into clear, timely communications.
- Manage participant data in the lead-up to events, incl. registration fulfilment, transport bookings and additional experience purchases.
- Oversee supplier relationships, including merchandise providers.
- Manage participant queries across event inboxes, social channels, and call booking systems.
- Lead Registration and Information desks during live event weekends.
- Deliver financial reporting and reconciliation across registrations, revenue, and forecasting.
- Manage and support a junior team across key functions.
Your profile
- An events, hospitality or customer service focused background.
- Experience working in marketing, commercial or account management teams.
- Ability to manage data accurately to support operations and reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
- Interest in technological solutions such as apps, platforms and AI.
- Confident with Microsoft Office and ideally a knowledge of registration platforms, Mailchimp, Wordpress and accounting software.

What we offer
SALARY: £30k - £35k per annum
BONUSES: Potential for performance and company-related bonuses
HOLIDAY: 28 days (inc. bank holidays) plus time off between Christmas & New Year
PENSION: 5% employer contribution
OFFICE LOCATION: Brighton, UK
REPORTING TO: Marketing Director
START DATE: Mid-July onwards
