This will be a 12 month fixed term contract as a HR Advisor, People and Culture. You will play a pivotal role in partnering with our business leaders to deliver high-quality, commercially focused HR advice and support. You’ll be a trusted advisor, empowering managers to lead effectively while managing risk and ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices.
How you'll make an impact
- Provide pragmatic, risk-based HR advice to managers, enabling them to handle employee relations matters confidently and consistently.
- Manage a variety of employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance issues, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
- Analyse people data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to improve HR practices and policies.
- Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures and M&A activity, ensuring people impacts are well understood and managed effectively.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and other HR functions to deliver seamless HR services.
About You
- Qualifications: CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Proven track record in HR advisory roles, with expertise in employee relations and supporting M&A activity (including TUPE). Experience in FCA-regulated or similarly regulated environments is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of UK employment law, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence and build credible relationships with stakeholders.
- Mindset: Resourceful, self-motivated, and customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Location and Travel:This role offers the flexibility to be home-based within the UK. However, occasional travel will be required, including attendance at the monthly HR meetings and ad hoc travel to meet specific business needs, such as supporting Employee Relations cases.
