This is a key role in maintaining, developing and governing our suite of finance systems, which support critical Group-wide financial reporting, planning and analysis processes across multiple teams and entities, with a primary focus on the CCH Tagetik platform. The role contributes directly to the reliability, efficiency, control and auditability of key reporting outputs.
Admiral has been recognised by CCH Tagetik for its innovation within Tagetik and there is a strong appetite to continue that innovation journey. You’ll be reporting directly to the Senior Group Finance Systems Manager, and your role will allow you to work collaboratively with senior Finance, IT, transformation, end-user and vendor stakeholders to influence system direction, agree priorities, resolve competing requirements and support effective decision-making.
Main Duties
Lead the day-to-day management of the suite of Tagetik modules, ensuring the modules function appropriately, continue to meet business end-user needs and support reliable Group-wide finance reporting outputs
Take end-to-end accountability for prioritising, shaping and delivering the Tagetik roadmap, ensuring the platform remains fit for purpose and aligned to Group Finance requirements, while coordinating activity across relevant stakeholders including the Group finance transformation team and end users
Own the design, governance and performance of enhancement testing, documenting outcomes and communicating impacts to end users and relevant stakeholders
Develop, maintain and take ownership for robust system governance and documentation, including change control, access, testing and controls, ensuring alignment to Group policies and supporting reliable, auditable and compliant Group Finance reporting processes
Lead technical support and troubleshooting for system users, resolving issues across process, data, controls and technology, with a focus on protecting data integrity and continuity of critical reporting processes
Collaborate with external third parties and vendors to facilitate system upgrades, updates and enhancements, managing vendor activity where required and ensuring changes are delivered effectively
Provide technical leadership across finance systems workstreams, coordinating matrix teams and stakeholders to own delivery plans, resolve competing priorities and ensure outcomes are achieved
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience
