Job description

Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council have an exciting opportunity for the recruitment of a Customer Service Advisor. The successful applicant would work within a unified team servicing both Brentwood and Rochford residents, however for this position most contacts will be from Brentwood residents and customers. Our Customer Services team handle all contact into both Councils via multiple channels and offer an excellent first point of contact for our customers.

Our customer services team require highly trained motivated staff, who are passionate about going the extra mile for customers. Being part of a truly multi-channel customer contact service presents big opportunities to radically improve the way we deliver our services. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be expected to deliver a first-class service, first time, every time. We can offer hybrid working arrangements to the successful candidate.

 

The successful applicant will:

Have strong knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office packages

Experience of working within a team in a customer focused environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Have a flexible working approach to attend both organisations in person, as and when required

Have a positive and enthusiastic approach to delivering high service standards
