At Egis, we prioritise our people, and to enhance our Nuclear capabilities, we are looking to recruit a skilled Nuclear Commercial Manager to operate as part of the Energy and Sustainable Cities Business Line.
This period marks an exciting time to join Egis's new Project, Programme, PMO and Commercial Management Capability (“P3M CM”) UK, Ireland and Europe team, which is undergoing a transformative phase.

About the Role

Egis UK is seeking a forward-thinking Commercial Manager to join our expanding team, delivering high-value programmes across the Nuclear spectrum. Your Role & Impact
Reporting to the Nuclear Commercial Lead, you’ll be at the heart of our commercial delivery capability — supporting clients through guiding procurement, contract execution, post-contract delivery and contract close-out across multi-workstream programmes. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, and supply chain partners to deliver commercial excellence, compliance and performance. Your leadership and technical ability will help shape smarter, safer, and more resilient infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Commercial Leadership
Work directly with our key clients, providing excellent commercial expertise and capability across the delivery lifecycle. This may be through secondment arrangements and being embedded within the client organisation
Collaborate with planners, PMs, and client stakeholders to ensure commercial clarity
Oversee contract development, execution, management, supplier performance and risk mitigation
Ensure compliance with NEC3/4, FIDIC, UK law, and applicable regulatory frameworks
Guide procurement strategy and contract preparation across all phases
Build and foster strong supply chain relationships through performance-based contracts
Support construction teams in meeting delivery milestones safely and efficiently
Develop and build a strong industry network across clients and partners
Support work-winning teams by reviewing tender packs and identifying commercial risks
Project & Cost Management
Manage commercial portfolios working closely with colleagues and associated disciplines to deliver consistent and high-quality outcomes
Contribute to feasibility studies, benchmarking, business case development and value management
Lead cost planning, estimating, and final cost plan presentation
Manage post-contract cost variances, valuations, and change control
Oversee final account negotiation and post-project evaluation
What do we need from you
A qualification in a related subject (e.g. Quantity Surveying, Construction Law)
Chartership in a related subject (or working towards)
Good commercial acumen and experience operating within client organisations
Strong financial modelling and problem-solving skills
Excellent client-facing and supply chain engagement abilities
Experience managing teams and mentoring junior colleagues
Sector experience in nuclear, water, environment, defence, rail, highways or other major/complex infrastructure sectors
Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and risk management
NEC3/4 contract expertise
Familiarity with the full construction lifecycle
A strong appetite for continuous learning and self-development
Fully conversant with all commonly utilised office IT packages as well as industry specific systems (e.g. contract management)
Valid CSCS card;
Willingness to work on-site at least 3 days per week (London or Manchester area)
