The Role
Join our Construction and Engineering Faculty as a Construction and Engineering Administrator and play a key role in supporting one of the College's busiest curriculum areas. This varied and rewarding position involves providing high-quality administrative support across a wide range of activities, including student administration, admissions, attendance monitoring, recruitment processes, employer engagement and faculty events. We are looking for an organised, proactive and highly motivated individual with excellent communication and administrative skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, carers and external partners. Key Responsibilities
To ensure student data is checked effectively particularly in respect of enrolment, transfers, withdrawal and completion information.
To liaise with parents, carers and external services to arrange learner meetings.
Support the Attendance Officers with learner attendance data, as well as liaising with parents, carers and learners by answering calls and dealing with queries.
To assist the HR department with departmental recruitment processes.
To be actively involved in the administration of marketing activities, learner recruitment, and evening showcase events.

Qualifications
Minimum Level 3 Business Administration qualification.
Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
Evidence of up to date CPD.
Experience
Experience of working in a busy office.
Experience of working in an educational environment – Desirable.
Knowledge & Skills
Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills.
A high degree of IT literacy, particularly in the use of Microsoft office applications.
Ability to prioritise work.
Good people skills and the ability to relate to a wide range of students, staff, parents and carers.
Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records.
