Jump Trading is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its EU and APAC Finance team, based in London. The team owns financial, statutory and regulatory reporting across 20+ legal entities in Europe and Asia-Pacific, with NetSuite as the group ERP. This is a senior, London-based role with a European focus. The successful candidate will take ownership of the statutory and management reporting for a portfolio of the group's European operating entities, partner closely with local third-party accountants and auditors, and broaden the team's coverage of its core European entities. The role also contributes to the team's ongoing finance automation agenda. It suits a technically strong, self-directed accountant who is comfortable owning entities end to end and working across borders and time zones.

What You'll Do:

Own the monthly close, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reporting for a portfolio of European operating entities, including German entities reporting under local HGB and other EU local-GAAP frameworks

Prepare statutory financial statements and lead audit coordination for the assigned entities, working directly with external auditors and local third-party bookkeepers

Reconcile local statutory books to the group NetSuite ledger, investigating and resolving GAAP and currency translation differences between local and group reporting

Manage intercompany recharges, settlements and related reconciliations across the European entity perimeter

Broad EU coverage. Build working knowledge across the wider European entity book to provide cover and continuity, ensuring key EU entities are supported by more than a single team member

Contribute to the team's finance automation and AI initiatives, applying new tools to reconciliations, reporting and close processes to improve efficiency and quality

Work with group controllership, tax, treasury and local advisors to ensure accurate, timely and compliant reporting

Other duties as assigned or needed

Skills You'll Need:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with 5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience

Strong statutory accounting background with hands-on experience owning multiple legal entities, ideally across more than one European jurisdiction

Familiarity with European local-GAAP reporting; experience with German HGB is a distinct advantage

Experience with a major ERP and strong Excel; comfort adopting new technology and automation tools

Proven experience managing external audits and partnering with third-party accountants

Reliable and predictable availability
