Job description
We are looking to recruit two part time Customer Service Assistants to work across the University of Liverpool campus.
The roles will be 20 hours per week working Monday – Friday between 08:00 and 18:00.
You will be responsible for one or more reception desks in university buildings, as directed by the Building Services Manager, ensuring the good management of the premises and area.
You will report to the Building Services Manager or the Deputy Building Services Manager.
You will be member of a large team of Building Managers, Building Service Assistants and Customer Service Assistants with a flexible approach to all aspects of work, supporting the management team across all buildings.
Providing an efficient and effective, customer focused support service and key point of contact for a range of people both internal and external to the University.
To act as first line of enquiry for students, staff, contractors, deliveries and visitors.
Acting as a conduit for the various facilities functions across, Cleaning, Campus Support, reception areas and maintenance for the building and users.
Working within a culture of teamwork and personal responsibility, you will play a key role in the continued success and image of the Property and Campus Services department (PCS).
This includes duties relating to examinations, Open Days, recruitment events and conference activity.
Provide a point of contact within buildings dealing with staff, students, visitors, suppliers etc. in a professional manner within a hybrid working environment.
To work flexibly between the hours 08:00-18:00 Monday to Friday.
To provide administrative support to Building & Cleaning Services Management, including organising administration for events.
You should have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Relevant experience in a customer service/hospitality environment is essential.
A uniform will be provided.
