This is a great job for someone who has experience leading complex Finance change programmes and enjoys bringing together Finance, Actuarial and Technology teams to deliver meaningful business outcomes. It would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can navigate ambiguity with confidence, and is passionate about improving forecasting, insight and decision-making.

 

A bit about the job:

The Finance Delivery Lead will help shape and deliver the future of Finance forecasting through the Forecasting and Scenario Tool Results (FaSTR) programme. In this role, you will lead the next phase of delivery, building on the foundations already established to enhance capital forecasting, IFRS reporting, liquidity forecasting and future scenario modelling capabilities. Working across UK IWR Finance, Group, Actuarial and Technology teams, you will ensure solutions are successfully embedded into business-as-usual processes and deliver better insight, stronger controls and more effective decision-making.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

Qualified actuary or equivalent experience in financial forecasting, capital, reporting with proven experience leading complex Finance, Actuarial or business change programmes with multiple stakeholders

Strong understanding of capital forecasting, IFRS reporting and liquidity forecasting, with the ability to translate technical requirements into business outcomes.

Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing and challenging senior leaders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with experience managing competing priorities and delivering at pace

A collaborative and inclusive leadership style, combined with experience managing governance, risks, issues, dependencies and resource planning across large programmes or portfolios.

Salary circa £115,000 - depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
