The Opportunity
We are working with a major UK government organisation undergoing a significant transformation across its data, digital, and AI capabilities.
This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact programme at the intersection of business analysis, product management, and emerging AI technologies, supporting critical national services and operational teams.
You will play a key role in shaping and delivering user-focused, data-driven products, working across complex stakeholder environments and driving real-world outcomes from advanced analytics and AI solutions.
The Role
This is a hybrid Business Analyst / Product role, ideal for someone who is comfortable operating across both disciplines.
You will:
Lead discovery work across operational and policy environments to identify high-value opportunities
Translate complex business needs into clear product requirements, epics, and user stories
Own and manage product backlogs, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
Act as the bridge between technical teams, operational users, and senior stakeholders
Support delivery of AI / Machine Learning / Data products, including GenAI and LLM-based solutions
Drive Agile delivery practices (Scrum / SAFe), facilitating ceremonies and ensuring continuous improvement
Contribute to roadmaps, benefits realisation, and long-term product strategy
Work closely with data and engineering teams across cloud-based environments (AWS / Azure)
What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to speak with candidates who bring a blend of analysis, product thinking, and delivery capability.
Key experience includes:
Strong Business Analysis background within complex, large-scale environments
Experience operating as a Product Owner / Product Manager or in a hybrid role
Proven track record delivering digital or data transformation programmes
Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / SAFe)
Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across government or regulated sectors
Strong skills in:
Requirements gathering & documentation
Backlog management (JIRA / Confluence)
Process mapping (As-Is / To-Be)
Data analysis (SQL desirable)
Desirable Experience
Exposure to AI / Machine Learning / Generative AI use cases
Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) or automation tools
Background in law enforcement, central government, or highly regulated environments
Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure) and microservices architectures
Experience working with large, complex datasets and analytical workflows
