Background
The role will backfill a business analyst who has been seconded on to the Student Records system project. This back-fill role will work as a business analyst on a range of projects from across the IT project portfolio. The role elicits and documents system requirements to make recommendations which enable solutions in line with the scope of the project. It is key to supporting IT enabled projects to deliver the benefits identified within the business case.
Responsibilities
Elicit and documenting system requirements from project stakeholders
Analyse impacts, dependencies, and feasibility
Recommend solutions that align with project scope, benefits, and University strategy
Support delivery through testing, training, and implementation activities
Person Specification
Experience of gathering, recording and prioritising IT functional and non-functional requirements.
Able to map and document business processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience of facilitating workshops.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to distil large amounts of data into concise recommendations for action
